FUORI CONCORSO 2022
Simultaneously with the Concours d'Elegance of Villa D'Este we found this event contaminated by the pure Italian lifestyle, enriched by art, culture, and the pure design that are so thrilling to the community of car enthusiast all over the world. This year's edition of "Fuori Concorso” takes on a “Sonderwunsch" theme, and as an absolute novelty it is hosted in three beautiful locations:
Villa del Grumello and Villa Sucota, and in addition Villa Olmo, transformed into a real open-air museum.
Institutional partner of this edition is be the the National Automobile Museum of Turin, with an exhibition of 22 models, and two splendid pieces from the very famous Righini Collection at the Villa Olmo.
In the two remaining locations (Villa del Grumello and Villa Scuota) the organisers put on a display of cars made to measure by Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur. An exhibition of 30 unique cars, many of which have never been shown to the public, born from the encounter between the dreams of enthusiasts and the skilled hands of Porsche craftsmen, thrilling onlookers with their design and uniqueness.
In detail, Villa del Grumello presented a selection of the best models born from the Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur, culminating wiht their latest creation: the new Porsche 911 Sport Classic, in one of its first appearances on the road. At Villa Sucota, on the other hand, it will be possible to admire Porsche Concept Cars and prototypes. These are unique pieces not intended for sale, real style and design studies, representations of the innovation typical of dream cars.
A dream weekend like the one just ended cannot fail to include a visit to this splendid event; a journey that starts from the cars of the early 1900s, up to the modern Porsches, visiting Ferraris of F1 and Exclusive Models with glossy bodyworks made in Stuttgart.
The combination of these events held in Lake Como has really rekindled the passion for the automobile that was kind of dormant in the last years because of the pandemic...
